It holds the transmission fluid. Make a turn and then place the jackstand onto the frame of the car.
Set up two jack stands either side to keep the car in place and keep it from falling over your head. Take your drain pan and finally, get under the car. Grab a hex key to make the bolt loose. Make sure you wear gloves to avoid the fluid from entering your hands.
The transmission fluid you are using should be red. If the liquid you empty has a dark hue that suggests you’re doing right thing when you refill it. Some of the care facilities have transmission filters. This involves taking out those bolts which hold the pan to the floor and taking out the entire pan. If you have any questions regarding your filter for transmission, go through the instruction manual.
